Katalon Studio 9.6: Generate API tests with AI
In version 9.6, Katalon Studio launched the API test case generator (beta), an AI-driven feature that transforms imported OpenAPI/Swagger specifications into test cases. Currently, the generator supports status code verification and is compatible with OpenAPI 2 (Swagger) and OpenAPI 3.

Enhanced browser version support: TestCloud now promptly supports the latest browser versions, including development, beta, and stable releases. This ensures your tests are aligned with the latest browser-features and security updates.
Simplified custom keyword integration: The new Katalon TestCloud Keywords plugin integrates seamlessly with Katalon Studio, featuring pre-built custom keywords for TestCloud environments. For users on Katalon Studio 9.x or newer, the plugin automatically installs and updates itself when TestCloud integration is enabled, eliminating the need for manual setup.
Comprehensive test artifacts upload: To aid in issue investigation and troubleshooting, all testing artifacts — such as videos, screenshots, and execution logs — are now uploaded to TestOps even if a test session times out or is canceled. This ensures you have all the necessary data for effective issue analysis.
