ABOUT POSITION
TrueTest is an AI-augmented test automation solution that automatically discovers, models, generates, and maintains user-journey test cases. TrueTest provides a streamlined test generation process, saving time and improving testing efficiency. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing our flagship test automation tool, following the responsibilities of:
- Collaborate: Work closely with the Product Manager and dedicated team to develop new features and enhancements for Katalon products.
- Analysis and Design: Perform detailed technical analysis and design to break down features based on design and business requirements.
- Code Quality: Write high-quality code that adheres to development standards, design patterns, and best practices for maintainability.
- Team Support: Collaborate with fellow Engineers to ensure product quality, security, and performance meet standards.
- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for codebase enhancement and propose innovative solutions.
- Engineering Innovation: Contribute to internal engineering initiatives to develop tools and frameworks for improved efficiency and consistency.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to provide support for customer requests.
- Automation Assistance: Support automation efforts by assisting with maintenance and scripting for testing purposes.
Must-have
- Experience in at least one JVM-based language (Java), Python, or JavaScript.
- Moderate understanding of conventional J2EE specifications (CDI, JPA, JAX-RS), along with experience in back-end web frameworks (Spring or Quarkus), ORMs (Hibernate), and testing tools (JUnit, Mockito).
- Hands-on experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and popular tools such as JIRA, SonarQube, and Selenium.
- Good communication skills in English.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI technology, including text generation with LLM models (e.g., GPT in OpenAI / Azure OpenAI, LLaMA, Titan, etc.), prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation framework.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.), container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.), and cloud-native architectures like serverless, service mesh, and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with Terraform and OpenTelemetry.
