Graphic Design Intern

Key responsibilities:

As a Graphic Design Intern within our Branding & Communications department, you'll work under the guidance of a Senior Graphic Designer to handle designs for internal communications, corporate events, and external communications across online and offline channels. The wide range of projects you'll be involved in includes but is not limited to brand design, web design, email layout, video editing, motion design, and printing design.

• Mainly in charge of the designs for internal communications (event, email, newsletter, intranet, etc.), enabling the team to effectively reach out and communicate with target audiences.
• Assist your line manager (Sr Graphic Designer) in creating engaging and informative designs for corporate events (Year-end party, company trip, etc.) and for various external communication channels: Website (katalon.com/careers) and Social Media channels (Facebook Katalon Careers, YouTube Life At Katalon, and Instagram Life At Katalon - to be introduced).
• Support the design of employer branding and corporate branding materials in both print and digital platforms, requiring multimedia content to deliver information in a dynamic and engaging format.
• Support brand guardians with creating and crafting visual elements and layouts if needed; maintain graphic design for Brand Identity Guidebook and Corporate Template.
• Collaborate with other designers from different departments to support the corporate-level project if needed.
• Undertake other related tasks upon request from your line manager

• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
• Experience with After Effects, Premiere, or any editing tools you feel comfortable with. This is crucial as we have numerous projects requiring motion and video delivery at standard quality.
• Familiarity with marketing and communications materials.
• Open-minded, proactive, adaptive, eager to learn, and able to work independently and in a team. Flexibility is required in this position, and you should not hesitate to get your hands dirty.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Must-have 'can-do' attitude.
• Photo shooting, video shooting, retouching, and editing skills are a plus
