Being Kastronaut joining our Kataverse, you will be trained and empowered to participate in real-life projects, from which soft and hard skills will be developed and sharpened.

Responsibilities

• Work under the technical writing team and get involved in technical communication, technical documentation, and technical concepts related to automation testing and software development.
• Work with product managers, software engineers, sales executives, and customer support to learn more about Katalon’s products and services and the needs of our users.
• Assist in writing technical documentation, such as user guides and reference material.
• Offer suggestions to improve technical documentation.
• Proofread various new technical documents and other deliverables before editorial review.
• Research on competitor products and documentation services (optional).
• Use data and research to assist in the implementation of our documentation strategy (optional).

Primary requirements

• Major in Technical Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Software Engineering, Communications, English, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Complete proficiency in the English language is needed, with excellent grammar, sentence structure, and more.
• A demonstrable ability for self-learning, collecting information, and performing online research. Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently with logical thinking in language.
• Interest in new technologies and software development.

Definite pluses to having

• Prior experience with Agile methodologies.
• Prior writing experience. Especially with web-based content making.
• Familiarity with software development and/or automation testing.
• Familiarity with data analytics.
• Basic proficiency in graphic design and UI/UX.
