As a BDR at Katalon, you will be responsible for:
Prospect Generation: Identify, research, and prioritize potential customers within the DevOps and automation testing market using various lead generation tools and B2B databases.
Lead Qualification: Conduct thorough qualification calls to assess customer needs, budget, and decision-making authority.
Sales Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and nurture sales pipelines to ensure consistent revenue growth.
Customer Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with prospects and customers through personalized communication and follow-up.
Quota Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas by effectively executing sales strategies.
- You will be the first point of contact with potential customers. You will learn about their business drivers, understand their current software development operating model, and share information about how Katalon has assisted companies around the world in achieving their goals.
- You will research companies and evaluate their structure and marketing & communications strategies to understand how best to position Katalons products.
- You will qualify new business leads based on whether Katalon’s products are a good fit for their needs.
Nurture interest and consult on Katalon solutions to create opportunities via marketing objectives, inbound discovery calls, emails, and consulting. - Schedule product demonstrations, and collaborate with Account Executives to qualify customers, build a pipeline and drive deals.
- Other Projects & Responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
Responsibilities - You will be serving one of our main market segments - AMER/APAC/ EMEA.
- You will be utilizing all available resources (call, email, campaign, etc.) to establish,
develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships. - You will identify qualified leads, articulate Katalon solutions, and route opportunities
properly to Account Executives. - You will maintain daily activities in the system of record, tracking interactions with
prospects and customers. - You will analyze prospective customer needs, understand current processes, determine
basic requirements, new competitors as well as any new market and industry trends to
update appropriate strategies. - You will stay up-to-date on the new releases of Katalon Solutions/products/services.
- You will receive continuous training and coaching from your mentor and peers.- You will be recognized and celebrated for the many contributions that you make to our growth.

- 1-3 years of experience in software or SaaS sales, preferably within the DevOps or automation testing industry
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the DevOps and automation testing landscape, including key trends and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
- Proficiency in using CRM systems (Salesforce, Outreach, etc.) and sales enablement tools
- A highly motivated and results-oriented mindset
Bonus Points
- Experience selling DevOps or automation testing software products
- Familiarity with Katalon's product suite and competitive landscape
- A strong technical background or understanding of software development processes
- Candidates with technical academic background preferred
