Katalon Product Roundup | December 2025

Written by Ajith K. P. | Jan 15, 2026 1:18:27 PM

In December, we doubled visibility, control, and confidence across your quality lifecycle. In TestOps, a comprehensive set of new stability metrics and test case health reports brings far richer insight into why tests fail and what to do next. Rounding things out, new license utilization reports, expanded deletion options, and EU-region deployment give admins the governance and flexibility they need to scale.

Let’s take a closer look at what’s new.

Test case health report

The Test case health report provides an aggregate, filterable view of your entire test suite’s health. It shows stability indicators and an updated test flakiness distribution pie chart so you can segment tests by reliability and design a targeted stabilization strategy.

Why it matters: Instead of guessing where to invest effort, QA leaders get a portfolio-level view of test health to drive systematic, measurable reliability improvements.

Session usage reporting

New session duration reports for KSE and KRE provide granular visibility into how licenses are actually used. Administrators can see real execution or IDE session durations per user, helping them right-size allocations, justify renewals, and ensure licenses are used where they add the most value.

Why it matters: With accurate utilization data, you can optimize license spend, prevent waste, and support growing teams without guesswork.

Katalon Studio floating license

KSE Floating licenses can now be allocated at the Organization level in TestOps. Instead of managing license distribution project by project, admins can centrally control and adjust license access across all projects in an organization, improving utilization and simplifying administration.

Why it matters: Centralized allocation helps you avoid both under- and over-provisioning, ensuring the right people across teams have access to Katalon Studio when they need it.
